Interprofessioneel Onderwijs

Het Associatie Onderzoeksplatform (AOP) focust op de versterking van interprofessioneel onderwijs (IPE), waarbij studenten uit verschillende disciplines samen leren, van en over elkaar. Dit samenwerkingsmodel verbetert niet alleen de samenwerking tussen professionals, maar verhoogt ook de kwaliteit van zorg. Wereldwijd wordt IPE gezien als een essentieel onderdeel van betere zorgverlening.

Binnen de Associatie Universiteit Gent (AUGent) werken UGent, HOGENT en Arteveldehogeschool samen aan de leerlijn ‘Leren Interprofessioneel Samenwerken’ (LISa). Deze leerlijn is al deels geïmplementeerd in 11 opleidingen en vormt een innovatief curriculum gebaseerd op wetenschappelijke inzichten.

Het AOP ondersteunt verder onderzoek naar interprofessioneel onderwijs en interprofessionele identiteit. Denk hierbij aan thema’s zoals simulatie-onderwijs, doelgerichte zorg en werkplekleren. Door expertise te bundelen vanuit diverse disciplines en onderwijsvormen, bevordert het platform zowel de theorie als de praktijk van interprofessioneel leren en werken.

Met dit platform bouwen we samen aan een toekomst waarin onderwijs en zorg hand in hand gaan voor betere samenwerking en resultaten.

Interprofessional Education

The Association Research Platform (AOP) focuses on strengthening interprofessional education (IPE), where students from different disciplines learn together, from and about each other. This collaborative model not only improves collaboration between professionals, but also enhances the quality of care. Worldwide, IPE is seen as an essential part of better healthcare delivery.

Within the Ghent University Association (AUGent), UGent, HOGENT and Arteveldehogeschool work together on the learning line ‘Learning Interprofessional Cooperation’ (LISa). This learning line has already been partly implemented in 11 courses and constitutes an innovative curriculum based on scientific insights.

The AOP further supports research into interprofessional education and interprofessional identity. This includes themes such as simulation education, goal-oriented care and workplace learning. By combining expertise from various disciplines and forms of education, the platform promotes both the theory and practice of interprofessional learning and working.

With this platform, we are jointly building a future where education and care go hand in hand for better cooperation and results.
