Subproject 1: Versterken van voedselproductie en -productiviteit via klimaatslimme landbouw ter verbetering van voedselzekerheid en inkomen

Klimaatverandering en -variabiliteit belemmeren duurzame voedselproductie en leiden tot voedseltekorten binnen de economisch kwetsbare vluchtelingen- en gastgemeenschappen in Noord-Oeganda. Dit subthema heeft tot doel het gezamenlijk ontwikkelen en verspreiden van klimaatslimme innovaties voor een gendersensitieve en inclusieve werking van een duurzaam en inclusief agro-voedselsysteem, om zo in te spelen op de precaire voedseltekorten in vluchtelingenopvangende gemeenschappen.

Subproject 1: Enhancing food production and productivity through climate-smart agriculture to improve food security and income

Climate change and variability hinders sustainable food production and leads to food shortage in the economically challenged refugee-host community in Northern Uganda. The sub-theme aims to co-develop and disseminate climate-smart innovations for a gender-sensitive and inclusive functioning of a sustainable and inclusive agri-food system to respond to the precarious food shortage in the refugee-hosting communities.
