Subproject 5: Versterken van vrede en harmonieus samenleven tussen vluchtelingen en gastgemeenschappen ten behoeve van een inclusief en duurzaam agro-voedselsysteem

Er ontstaan conflicten tussen vluchtelingen en gastgemeenschappen, en ook tussen vluchtelingen van verschillende etnische groepen, wat de voedselproductie en het vreedzaam samenleven ondermijnt. Dit subthema brengt de aard en drijfveren van deze conflicten in kaart en ontwikkelt samen met de gemeenschap gendersensitieve en inclusieve, door de gemeenschap gedragen systemen voor conflictoplossing die sneller en goedkoper zijn dan een repressief rechtssysteem. Dit is essentieel om de voortdurende ontwikkeling van agro-voedselsystemen te bevorderen, ten voordele van zowel vluchtelingen als gastgemeenschappen.

Subproject 5: Enhancing peace and harmonious living among refugees and host communities for inclusive and sustainable agri-food System

Conflicts occur between refugees and the hosts, and among refugees from different ethnic groups which affects food production and harmonious co-existence. This sub-theme will
unearth nature and drivers of the conflicts and to co-generate gender-sensitive and inclusive community-led conflict resolution system that are faster and cheaper as opposed to a retributive justice system. This is essential to foster continuous agri-food systems development for the benefit of both refugees and the hosts.
