Met dit project beogen we doelstellingen op twee verschillende niveaus: (I) inhoudelijke doelstellingen waarmee we aan de slag gaan rond de horizontale Erasmus+ prioriteit ‘Environment and Fight Against Climate Change’, binnen het kader van de Sustainable Development Goals, en (II) consolidatiedoelstellingen waarmee we willen verzekeren dat het project duurzame resultaten oplevert op vlak van kennis, vaardigheden, gedragsverandering, socio-economische inbedding. 1. Inhoudelijke doelstellingen 1.1. Kennis, bewustzijn en motivatie vergroten rond de drie hoofdthema’s van het project Duurzame, gezonde voedselkeuzes aanmoedigen. Bewuste keuzes maken rond groenmanagement, materiaal(her)gebruik, en afvalverwerking in scholen. Een circulair economische mindset bewerkstelligen die toelaat om groene initiatieven te koppelen aan nieuwe manieren om na te denken over lokale voedselproductie, financiële stabiliteit, en een sterke socio-economische verankering van deze initiatieven. 1.2. Voor elke deelnemende school: de ontwikkeling en het ontwerp van een socio-ecologische, context-specifieke uitwerking van het ‘farm-to-table’ concept, waarbij duurzame voedselproductie aan de hand van bijvoorbeeld herstellende landbouw en circulaire constructies worden gekoppeld aan aandacht voor persoonlijke gezondheid en de socio-economische levensvatbaarheid van de intiatieven. 1.3. Op het projectniveau: de ontwikkeling en het uiteindelijke delen van educatieve pakketten die zowel de ontwikkelde tools en methoden bevatten om rond deze duurzaamheidsthematiek aan de slag te gaan met studenten, maar ook handvaten om gelijkaardige projecten op te zetten in andere lokale settings. 2. Consolidatiedoelstellingen 2.1. Het welzijn van studenten en leerkrachten in alle deelnemende organisaties verhogen. 2.2. The ontwikkelen van eigenschappen en vaardigheden waaronder zelfvertrouwen, het gevoel van eigenaarschap, empathie voor andere stakeholders en ons leefmilieu, en co-creatief werken. 2.3. Toewerken naar de verduurzaming van deze groene initiatieven, met innovatieve economische manieren van denken, cross-sectoraal samenwerken en interculturele uitwisseling als de voornaamste sterkhouders om onze doelstellingen te bereiken.

With this project, we aim for objectives on two different levels: (I) substantive objectives that we will tackle around the horizontal Erasmus+ priority ‘Environment and Fight Against Climate Change’ within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals, and (II) consolidation objectives to ensure that the project delivers sustainable results in terms of knowledge, skills, behavioral change, and socio-economic embedding. 1. Substantive Objectives 1.1. Increase knowledge, awareness, and motivation around the three main themes of the project: - Encouraging sustainable, healthy food choices. - Making conscious decisions regarding green management, material (re)use, and waste processing in schools. - Establishing a circular economic mindset that allows linking green initiatives to new ways of thinking about local food production, financial stability, and strong socio-economic embedding of these initiatives. 1.2. For each participating school: the development and design of a socio-ecological, context-specific elaboration of the ‘farm-to-table’ concept, where sustainable food production through, for example, restorative agriculture and circular constructions are linked to attention for personal health and the socio-economic viability of the initiatives. 1.3. At the project level: the development and eventual sharing of educational packages that include the developed tools and methods to work on this sustainability theme with students, as well as guidelines for setting up similar projects in other local settings. 2. Consolidation Objectives 2.1. Improve the well-being of students and teachers in all participating organizations. 2.2. Develop qualities and skills including self-confidence, a sense of ownership, empathy for other stakeholders and our environment, and co-creative work. 2.3. Work towards the sustainability of these green initiatives, with innovative economic thinking, cross-sector collaboration, and intercultural exchange as the main strengths to achieve our objectives.
