‘Ecologies of Transnational Solidarity Cinema’ kijkt naar films die zijn gemaakt in de context van sociale en politieke strijd, waar ook ter wereld, en beschouwt daarbij de patronen, productiestrategieën en cinematografische esthetiek die voortkomen uit deze interactie tussen ideologie en beeldvorming niet alleen in termen van geschiedenis, maar ook in termen van context, en denkt na over de vraag hoe we vandaag met dit erfgoed kunnen omgaan.

‘Ecologies of Transnational Solidarity Cinema’ looks at the body of films that were made within social and political struggles around the world, thinking of the patterns, strategies of production and cinematic aesthetics that this interaction between ideology and image making produces, not only in terms of histories but also of context, considering how we can deal with this heritage today.
