Global Drug Survey
Elk jaar in november lanceert de Global Drug Survey zijn drugsonderzoek. Deze wereldwijde survey werd o.a. vertaald naar het Nederlands en wordt in België gecoördineerd door HOGENT.
De Global Drug Survey is een unieke en anonieme online vragenlijst over het druggebruik bij +16-jarigen. Door te luisteren naar de gebruikers van alcohol, tabak, medicatie en drugs brengen we het druggebruik in België in kaart in een internationaal perspectief. Er wordt o.a. gepeild naar de frequentie van het druggebruik, de aankoop van drugs, maatregelen die druggebruikers nemen om de schade te beperken, redenen om te starten en stoppen met drugs, opnames in het ziekenhuis… De resultaten geven preventiewerkers en hulpverleners correcte informatie om op lokale en globale trends te anticiperen en te reageren.

Every year in November, the Global Drug Survey launches its drug survey. This worldwide survey has been translated into Dutch and is coordinated in Belgium by HOGENT.
The Global Drug Survey is a unique and anonymous online questionnaire on drug use among +16 year olds. By listening to users of alcohol, tobacco, medication and drugs, we map drug use in Belgium in an international perspective. Among other things, we survey the frequency of drug use, purchase of drugs, harm reduction measures taken by drug users, reasons to start and stop using drugs, hospitalizations... The results give prevention and care workers accurate information to anticipate and respond to local and global trends.
