Interprofessionele eerstelijnspraktijken kennen tal van opportuniteiten tot nieuwe samenwerkingsvormen waarbij zowel de overbevraagde huisarts zich meer kan focussen op kerntaken, als waarbij de verpleegkundige en andere paramedische disciplines verdere professionalisering en inhoudelijke verbreding en verdieping kennen. Ook de patiënt krijgt betere en meer toegankelijke zorg. Daarenboven resulteert goed uitgebouwde en veilige complementaire zorg in een grotere (job)tevredenheid van elke partij. Innovatieve praktijkvoering binnen de eerstelijn is nodig in het licht van de actuele uitdagingen voor de eerstelijn. Met dit onderzoek willen we toekomstbestendige interprofessionele samenwerking in inspirerende eerstelijnssettings verder exploreren en in kaart brengen. De innovatieve praktijk wordt niet alleen inhoudelijk bestudeerd, er wordt ook onderzoek gedaan naar succesfactoren en randvoorwaarden om de shift van “taakdelegatie” naar “complementaire zorg” te maken. Het profiel, de opleiding, de rol en de taken van de verpleegkundige in de eerstelijn worden daarbij extra onder de loep genomen. Daarnaast worden andere disciplines met relevante rollen in de interprofessionele eerstelijnszorg mee beschouwd wanneer het gaat over innovatieve praktijkvoering. Het is de bedoeling de resultaten van deze exploratie te structureren en terug naar de praktijk en het onderwijs te brengen. Zo kan enerzijds de opleiding van de toekomstige eerstelijnsprofessionals zich verder ontwikkelen en anderzijds de praktijk zich verder duurzaam ontplooien. Deze explorerende fase biedt mogelijk perspectief op verder (participatief actie)onderzoek waarbij de uitwerking van opgedane inspiratie concreet in de eerstelijnspraktijk wordt vertaald en geëvalueerd.

Interprofessional primary care practices hold plenty of opportunities for new forms of cooperation in which both the overworked general practitioner can focus more on core tasks, and nurses and other paramedical disciplines experience greater professionalisation and broader and more in-depth content. Patients also receive better and more accessible care. Moreover, well-developed, and secure complementary care results in a higher (job) satisfaction of each party. Innovative practice within the primary care sector is needed, considering the current challenges. Through this study, we seek to further explore and outline future-proof interprofessional collaboration in inspiring primary care settings. The innovative practice is not only studied in terms of content, success factors and preconditions to make the shift from "task delegation" to "complementary care" are also investigated. The profile, training, role, and tasks of the primary care nurse are subjected to additional scrutiny. In addition, other disciplines with relevant roles in interprofessional primary care are also considered when it comes to innovative practice. The intention is to structure the results of the exploration and return them to practice and education. This results in both the education of future primary care professionals and the sustainable development of practice can be further developed. This exploratory phase could offer prospects for further (participatory action) research in which the implementation of gained inspiration is concretely translated and evaluated in primary care practice.
