Participatief onderzoekstraject buurtwerking Dendermonde

In opdracht van de stad Dendermonde deed onderzoekscentrum eCO-CITY in 2021 een participatief onderzoekstraject in vijf wijken van de stad. De onderzoekers gingen in gesprek met buurtbewoners, vrijwilligers, medewerkers van organisaties en stadsdiensten en kwamen per buurt tot een contextanalyse, wijkkaart, beeldmateriaal en wijkspecifieke kernthema's. Ze ontwikkelden duurzame methodieken om met burgers in dialoog te gaan over hun wijk/stad en legden zo de basis voor het buurtopbouwwerk Dendermonde.

Participatory research project community work Dendermonde

Commissioned by the city of Dendermonde, research centre eCO-CITY conducted a participatory research project in five neighbourhoods of the city in 2021. The researchers entered into dialogue with local residents, volunteers, employees of organisations and city services and arrived at a context analysis, neighbourhood map, visual material and neighbourhood-specific core themes for each neighbourhood. They developed sustainable methodologies to enter into dialogue with citizens about their neighbourhood/city and thus laid the foundations for Dendermonde's neighbourhood development work.
