There are two main objectives and two secondary objectives associated with this participation project.
Main objectives:
1) Ensure participation of relevant stakeholders in the development of the Schoonmeersen campus in terms of mobility as a lever towards more sustainable mobility.
2) Increase social awareness of sustainable mobility, particularly among students.
Secondary objectives:
1) The ambition is to make this project an inspiring example for participation processes at similar mobility-intensive and easily accessible places where many activities and users come together.
2) This project will expand the existing LaMA toolkit (Laboratories Mobile Alternatives) with new tools tailored to other mobility-intensive places (campuses, business parks, event locations, etc.).
September 2022 saw the opening of Revolteplein, the beating heart of the campus created by the new mobility plan.
