Pelicano

In dit onderzoeksproject wordt een kwalitatief onderzoek opgezet in Vlaanderen, Brussel en Wallonië waarbij de focus ligt op het bevragen van de sociale partners (scholen, OCMW, departement sociale zaken) van Pelicano.
De Pelicano Foundation heeft tot doel om kinderarmoede in België te bestrijden, in het bijzonder door financiële bijstand te verlenen om aan de basisbehoeften (maaltijden, kleding, schoolbenodigdheden,… ) van kinderen tegemoet te komen. De Pelicano Foundation wenst in te zetten op een kwalitatief onderzoek waarbij voornamelijk het perspectief van de sociale partners (scholen, OCMW, departement sociale zaken) met wie ze samenwerkt centraal staat: Waarom contacteren ze Pelicano i.p.v. publieke actoren/organisaties? Hoe kijken ze naar de tussenkomst van Pelicano? Welke (sociale) impact genereert de tussenkomst van Pelicano? Welke opportuniteiten en uitdagingen identificeren ze?

In this research project, qualitative research will be conducted in Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia, focusing on surveying Pelicano's social partners (schools, CPAS, Department of Social Affairs).
The Pelicano Foundation aims to combat child poverty in Belgium, in particular by providing financial assistance to meet the basic needs (meals, clothing, school supplies,... ) of children. The Pelicano Foundation wishes to engage in qualitative research focusing mainly on the perspective of the social partners (schools, CPAS, Department of Social Affairs) with whom it works: Why do they contact Pelicano instead of public actors/organizations? How do they view Pelicano's intervention? What (social) impact does Pelicano's intervention generate? What opportunities and challenges do they identify?
