De associatieonderzoeksgroep 'MYCOTOXINS and TOXIGENIC MOULDS' streeft naar het oplossen van de huidige mycotoxineproblemen die endemisch zijn in menselijke voeding en diervoeder, door deze op te nemen in een globaal onderzoekskader, gebaseerd op 4 hoofdeenheden:
• Toxigene schimmels
• Mycotoxinen
• Mycotoxinen en diergezondheid
• Mycotoxinen en menselijke gezondheid
